PhilanthrAppeal is being used as a resource tool to streamline fund development initiatives at Morning Star, Inc. It is being used to organize our annual giving initiatives, track who are biggest supporters are, and assist with diversifying our funding sources. This is an invaluable tool in saving time and effort, which translates into saving money spent on overhead.
The success of Why Me and its programs is due, in tremendous part, to the dedicated team of volunteers committed to its mission. As Volunteer Coordinator, I am tasked with the management of over 230 active volunteers. I have found PhilanthrAppeal to be an amazing asset in managing and growing our program. The easy to use format for capturing basic data and information is tremendous; and the ability to track volunteer hours for recognition, grant writing purposes, and program participation is extremely helpful. In addition, PhilanthrAppeal allows us to tailor each volunteer record with the individual’s unique qualifications. This feature has enabled us to successfully connect volunteers with our children and families, providing services in the most efficient manner.
